Costume Underclothes:

Costume Underclothes: All cast members should have underdressing. These clothing

items should be well-fitting and not overly baggy so that costume items can be worn

above underdressing. (Tank tops, well-fitting t-shirts, gym shorts or leotards all work

great.) Please try to ensure that underdressing does not include any logos or distracting

graphics. Underdressing and show shoes should be worn to each dress rehearsal, tech

rehearsal and performances.

Please bring tan or black jazz shoes or any color ballet shoe.

Hair and Make-up:

Stage makeup is recommended but not required. Actors may choose to wear mascara, eye liner and foundation as applicable. Stage lights do wash out features, so make up can be helpful. Make up should be applied before rehearsals and performances and actors may “touch up” backstage provided they do not need assistance (parents are not admitted backstage.)

Girls hair should be pulled up into a high pony or bubble braid. A gold hair piece will be provided for the top. It’s ok if

it’s a half up, half down for kiddos with short hair!

Girls’ hair may be styled in a variety of ways. Consider your character and how they might look.

Are they a bedraggled street rat or pampered princess? If your hair is down, please use a clip or

pin to fasten your hair away from your face.
