STAR Leadership Training

Maranatha School of Dance & the Arts has launched a new leadership class for area high school students. The Taking Shape™ STAR Leadership Class is a national youth leadership training program designed for studios, clubs, and organizations passionate about growing young leaders. The program is designed in a classroom-style lesson format with a focus on five key elements--serve, trust, growth, excellence, and love--and incorporates community service opportunities. The STAR Leadership Class focuses on monthly themes of gratitude, giving, public speaking, positive self-image, respect, time management, budgeting money and many other topics that are valuable in leadership development. The STAR Leadership Class is a great resource for college prep or other goals beyond high school. Cost is $75 per year. Enrollment in a dance, music or art class at the studio is required.
